Ignore Feature ?

Not a big fan and haven’t used it before. However my question to my fellow Tiger Fans..

Is it possible to block an entire thread if the person starting it has been placed on ignore?

Hypothetical example:
Let’s say a person on the Lair starts numerous threads instead of simply replying to topics. Totally hypothetical of course...I know it probably will never happen.
