He said specifically that Kirby's attention to detail stuck out on the zoom calls. He said his urgency was also something.
Drink said this frees him up to recruit and raise money for NIL. With the portal and everything he said he has to re-recruit his players, fans and coaches every season.
Drink said that he wasn't adamant about making an OC hire until after the bowl game. He wanted to step back from the emotions of the season before he did anything.
Drink said he loves coaching QBs and designing plays -- he says he will miss that role, but that he needed to embrace his role to help the team. He said he was only going to hire someone he knew could do the job better than him.
He said Moore has been around a lot of titles as a coach and player.

Moore says there are a lot of similarities in the system. He said he wants to add more tempo to the offense. His mindset is "they have to defend us." He said even if he likes a play he's not going to force it and will check his ego at the door and run what the personnel allows and is comfortable with.

Moore said the scheme has to fit the personnel and figure out what the players do well.
Moore said he feels Brady Cook finished the season well, but that he said he can still do a lot of things of learning and things like that while he is rehabbing from the torn labrum.
