or a war we cannot win......to be more pre-emptive in responding to being shut out in St. Louis, and responding to Craddieth who couldn't wait to go to the media and denounce Mizzou as not showing consistent interest. Seems to me to be a good time to clarify, positively, our stance towards Missouri prospects. We want them, but will not wait on all of them to secure better offers during the recruiting cycle. We want Missouri players, but it's a two way street and we have roster to fill and have access to plentiful areas.....so if you want to get on board sometimes, depending who you are, you have to reserve your spot early.
It's time we take a more firm approach. No more dog and pony shows, and will not tolerate disrespect in the media. I'm not saying to do anything but clarify our approach, and make it clear we will not be a reservation station for in state prospects.
