The depth in the secondary was exposed last night but I'm pretty sure they've been great for most of the year. The defensive line is good and the linebackers seem good. So if Odom stays is it fair to expect our defense to be great again? They personal fouls is a legitimate knock on this team but I wouldn't be doom and gloom watching Nick Bolton lead this defense next year.
What does offense look like after Kelly Bryant? He's definitely playing hurt but I've lost faith in his arm. He may have elite legs but when they're hurt, he's a poor passer and that's a futile offense. So do we have faith in Dooley to go with another quarterback? If Odom brings him back then he's putting his career in DD's hands. If he replaces him then the team will need immediate success to continue his career.
Shaun Robinson vs Connor Bazelak is what I'd be looking forward to in spring training, whoever the OC is.
