In either basketball, or football? This was never a concern for most of us, but my son is a wonderful young basketball player. When asked his reply was, "it would be hard to pass up earning a degree from Stanford." If it were me, and I was lucky enough to play ball on someone else's dime I may have a hard time passing up a destination school like Hawaii. To be honest, and yes I know they put no money into their facilities but I'm not sure I would ever leave the island. Then again, it's cold outside right now and I'm a 40 year old man who needs a vacation.
