While it's still early in Raymond Wingo's college career, his future has promise at the wide receiver position. Recently, he was faced with a similar decision like his older brother Ronnie Wingo. Ronnie was a highly rated St. Louis runningback that was heavily recruited by Mizzou and Arkansas. It was speculated that Mizzou wanted him to switch his position to linebacker in college. Instead, he would go to Arkansas as a runningback and get little playing time while there.
Raymond Wingo, a cornerback out of high school, was asked to switch to wide receiver and gave it an opportunity. Instead of being buried at one of Mizzou's deepest positions, he had the most receiving yards at today's spring game.
Not saying that Ronnie would have been better off at Mizzou ,but it strikes me as interesting to compare the two brother's decisions. One went left, one went right.
