Mauk and Towles were the top underperforming QB's in the SEC coming into tonight. Towles quieted his critics with a great game. He exposed our underneath mid field passing defense. This can be easily fixed.
More importantly I think our recievers and our offensive line will be much better by playing Lock. Our recievers don't seem to have problems with Lock and our offensive line is better because with Lock because they don't have Maty running away and out of protection.
I don't think Witter will improve by playing Lock. In a nutshell replace Mauk and Witter and this team will be much much better. The combination of an inaccurate poor passer coupled with a tentative non-physical running back is......... Well you seen what it is..... And it's not pretty.
