Don't know if I've ever seen a take-down this brutal. It's not that Howard's tone is critical and unflinching (which it is) -- it's that this story is so well-researched and well-written. Moreover, by poignantly touching on black cultural issues without straying from the topic, he seems to have nailed the mission of the very website he's tearing to shreds. A very meta-dig.
