This is nothing that hasn't been said before, but J'Den spoke to my son's swim team today (as well as all the parents) and what a fantastic representative for the University of Missouri and, frankly, just for people. One of the things he said was "I'm from Columbia Missouri. I'm not from somewhere fancy. But I'm one of the three best wrestlers in the world in my weight class." The basic idea was, don't let other people put limits on you.
He took questions for 20-30 minutes from parents and kids. He then let every single kid that wanted one come through line and get an autograph and a picture. He's been doing the same all over Columbia since he came back.
Someone asked him about Tokyo and he said he wants to play football next year and then train for Tokyo for three years. Then he said, (paraphrasing here) "I trained for five months and I got a bronze medal. So with three years to train, who knows?"
Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, this kid can't get enough positive publicity.
