If Jim McElwain is a candidate for coaching job, he stated to AL.com that he will coach Central Michigan in their bowl game. don't know if that would make a difference and rule him out, or if we would wait on him.

{"Jim McElwain’s name has been rumored to be atop the list of coaching candidates at Missouri, but the Central Michigan coach made it clear he wasn’t going anywhere, at least not now.

Following Central Michigan’s 26-21 loss to Miami of Ohio in the Mid-American Conference title game Saturday, the former Florida coach was asked if he would coach the Chippewas for a bowl game.

“Absolutely,” McElwain said, per Central Michigan Life. “I can’t wait.”}
