The democrat’s plan to use the court system to help their candidate who is flailing and failing in the polls. Normally the Supreme Court does not interfere and jump the normal appellate process. Similarly the Supremes do not wish to step into politics unless there is no way out. Jack Smith wants the trial to start the day before Super Tuesday for the desired political effect. . The partisan game gets more obvious all the time. They had from Jan 6, 21 to bring any of these cases but needed them to save a president in physical and cognitive decline so put them off till the election year campaign would be in full swing.
