I would assume that DRF and the athletic department have looked into him at least preliminarily?
Haven’t seen much discussion on him in several days, and many people seem to be convinced that we are down to McMahon vs English at this point.
I would think the AD would go hard after him as he is a proven winner (>10 NCAA tournament appearances), is currently doing some advisory job for the Detroit Pistons, and has coached in the Midwest before.
Sure people may question if he can recruit in the NIL era - but that’s what you hire assistants for also. Surely we can throw $4mil (or more?) a year at him and see what he says.
