Wednesday November 15, the STL Mizzou Tiger Club will host a panel discussion at Llywelyn's Pub in Webster Groves. We have a great lineup this year with football, basketball and baseball represented. Tom Ackerman from KMOX, will MC the panel which will include:
Football Players
• Johnny Roland (Corpus Christi) - Running Back and Cornerback at Mizzou, All-American, Football Cardinal, College Football Hall of Fame. Coached Hall of Famer Walter Peyton in the NFL.
• Rob Riti (Hazelwood West High School) - Offensive Guard and Center from 1996-1999 at Mizzou, All-American)
• Rob Droege (Lindbergh High School) Offensive Tackle from 2000-2003, 2003 National Scholar-Athlete. Currently assistant coach at Kirkwood High
Basketball Players
• Johnnie Parker (Webster Groves High School) Mizzou forward, playing for Norm Stewart and Quin Snyder from 1997-2001. Played professionally overseas and is now an assistant coach at Webster Groves.
• Jimmy McKinney (Vashon High School) Four year starter for Quin Snyder’s basketball teams from 2002 through 2006. Played professionally for ten year and is now an assistant coach at Vashon.
Baseball Players
• Peter Fairbanks (Webster Groves High School) - Pitched for Tim Jamieson from 2013 through 2015 when he was drafted by the Texas Rangers. Mizzou starting pitcher 2014 and 2015, leading the team in ERA in 2015. Back in Saint Louis, rehabbing a Tommy John elbow.
There is no admission charge. Mixer begins at 5:30 and the panel discussion will start at 6:30. Come celebrate another football victory and a couple of basketball victories with us.
