Easton vs Glock. My money is on Glock 10x out of 10.

This officer has been charged with voluntary manslaughter under some bullshit new California law which introduces a concept called "immediate necessity" in order to use deadly force for self-protection rather than just the presence of a deadly threat or risk of grave bodily harm. I do not know this law or how it is different from other states' common self-protection deadly force laws, but is there any way that an assailant with a metal bat who just shrugged off a Taser strike being at only 5' distance isn't an immediate deadly threat? If not, what constitutes "immediate necessity;" being hit with the bat until nearly unconscious?

My take is this law will drain California of its law enforcement personnel. Who will ever want to be a LEO if you have to be on literally the edge of death before you can defend yourself? Nobody.
