Took the kids to Liberty North for the Invitational tourney last night. Fun to watch basketball, but not very many good games. Couple players stood out...
Kearney’s Brennan Watkins can fill it up. Averages about 25/game. Great handles, but his height looks about 5’9” maybe 5’10”...if he grows, he may get some looks.
Liberty North’s Brock Niemeier went off for 22 in the 1st quarter. LN was up ~40 pts at half when I left. He only scored 24 for the game. Not sure if he went cold or coach sat him to play younger kids. Gym was buzzing and he was lighting it up inside and out.
Any suggestions on kids I need to watch? My boys are 9 and 5 and love watching hoops. We try to get to 1-2 games each week.
