So with Tate leaving it got me thinking about Kim and his future. Imo if you bring back Kim for year 4 you almost have to extend his contract if you do. This year mark my word he will not be able to recruit a player worthy of Mizzou and he won't be able to bring in a quality assistant with the job uncertainty lingering. Good news is this year it isn't that big of a deal because of the frosh/soph heavy roster. Bringing Kim back for year 4 without any extension will crumble and further damage this program even more because it will be 2 years in a row of no ability to recruit. So IMO I think Kim has to do something that is a worthy of an extension in order to retain his job in which I think is NIT tournament with no defections that are key contributors and the full expectation with almost everyone returning they make the big dance in year 4.
