Played well for three halves in orlando and poorly for three. Davidson game was disappointing. "Coming off an emotional loss and we didn't perform."
Said he probably left starters in too long in that game. Did a good job preparing for Tulane and was surprised at the first half performance. Challenged the energy at halftime and they responded. Liked defense from Geist and Phillips, Walton a big factor
Good trip overall helped them improve, certainly would have liked to win two or three
On next stretch of games opportunity to reel off some wins. Playing pretty good teams, not cupcakes on this stretch

On Phillips "no one needed to tell him. He knew that's a play that he would like to have back." Says they've talked about it and Phillips has bounced back. "He's got to make smart plays. He's a smart guy"
Wanted Hughes to take the shot at the end of the Xavier game
