I was hoping to read the cliff notes and feel better about the future. I want to like Kim Anderson as our coach, I really do. As I read his quotes he seems in way over his head. He sounds defeated and beat up. I've always been in the "sunshine pumper" group but that is difficult to be part of that group when you see no hope.
I don't see the leadership qualities you look for in a head coach. You don't say your assistants need to be more responsible. If you feel that way you handle it in house. You don't say a player who is leaving is a great kid and player but it's ok he is leaving because you are heavy at his position. Part of your job is to generate some kind of excitement but saying you have to know what type of recruit you can actually get doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy. That's like telling your best friend he can't bang a hot chic so he should stick to overweight girls with a club foot.
Come on Kim, you should be better than this. Unfortunately, maybe you are not.
