You could argue LSU is trying to appease the NCAA to they don't start investigating in Baton Rouge's back yard (football), and you'd probably be right. But I guess kU can double down since they have one of the worst FB programs in the History of the NCAA. I know this ain't no news flash, but the NCAA is the worst sports governing body ever. It's not particularly close either.
