Laird Veatch returns to KC Tiger Club, this time as Mizzou's AD

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Laird Veatch served on Mike Alden's staff at Mizzou Athletics. For part of that time, he called on the KC area for the Tiger Scholarship Fund ... so he's no stranger to the Tiger Club. Yesterday, Veatch kicked off the 2024 KCTC luncheons as our guest speaker. Before the meeting, he sat down with our own Mark Fitzpatrick for a preview.

Club Notes

• The Tiger Club meets each Tuesday during the football season at Westport Flea Market Bar & Grill. Buffet lunch begins at 11:30 am and the program starts at Noon.
• Our Tues., Sept. 3 guest will be Phillip Zeeck, of counsel with Polsinelli in KC and experienced with college conference realignment.
• Our membership drive is underway. Help us help Mizzou Athletics.
