I haven't read the entire board so maybe this has been mentioned. But I see no fault with TP here.
Mitchell Smith was guarding the inbounder. It's a 5 high look which should be sending signals that they want to back door. We have 5 guys high. The ball is inbounded, M Smith jumps for the pass putting him 3 steps behind the streaking inbounder.
TP did a great job recognizing Smith was beaten and needed help. If TP hadn't rotated over, they have a layup.
And you can see that TP was surprised by his knee bend.
It's an elementary move to put a 6'10" guy on the inbounder. Unless he has to guard a guard after the pass. And remember Xavier set the inbounds up and then called time. They saw what the defense was and won the chess match.
