Down by 14 twice in the first half.

10 lead changes, including ties.

Lost lead again in 4th quarter.

Then made first down on 4th and 2 from own 40 range.

Held Arkansas to a late tie.

Win on last second field goal.

For the last 5 weeks I’ve wondered, as they won blowouts, has this team learned how to face adversity and come from behind? We have our answer.

The single most important thing this program lost over the last two years was the institutional memory of how to win. What it takes to win. Not merely play. But win.

This is the single most important gain going forward. A youth dominated team that learned on the job how to win, the hard way. Coaching, character, and belief. Football is won in the mind first.
