Any of our resident attorneys have knowledge of KS HB 2247?
If so, does KS HB 2247 signed into law by Gov Kelly on 4/5 and in effect on 7/1/2024 allow for KS merchants to charge CC surcharge fees not to exceed the cost to the merchant?
Seems that it does providing notification to the consumer is clearly stated at the point of sale. And that CC companies are notified the merchant intends to collect the fee.
