This is fukcing dumb.* It's how they sell their overstocked, mid-tier rated stuff. I looked at several items throughout the day, maybe 10-15. Just random shit. I wasn't looking for anything in particular. In almost all categories, I found less expensive, higher customer rated items that were identical or nearly identical to the Prime Day special deal.
They sell a lot of Alexas, Fire Sticks, and a lot of average TVs with overblown retail MSRP prices, IMO. That's Prime Day.
I'm ready to listen to the thoughts of others who had different (or similar) experiences.
