Of course, I hope we stomp WV Saturday. I lived in that state for 3 years. If Mizzou comes up short Saturday, are the nuts going to hop on here and proclaim "bad hire", "stupid decision", "Sterk needs a short list" type of crap? I hope not. This is his first game, ever, on the road, against a P5 opponent. BO didn't get the luck of SEMO, or Little Sister of the Poor. I'm looking at this game as a chance to see if they play well, and disciplined, and smart, as opposed to sloppy, off sides, penalties, and heaven forbid, D schemes that make me bark at TV. BO & Co. are building something here, maybe like Beamer did at VT. I'm hopeful, but keeping my eye on the long term, not one game. Of course, if they win, I want the whole student body at the airport. This coach/team needs us. It needs the students. Gabe was correct. This is the most important game for Mizzou in years, but not because they win or lose. They represent us. We represent them. That makes me proud.
