Our colleagues at Jayhawk Slant are reporting that Kansas' head strength coach, Zac Woodfin, will not return after his contract expired this year and that Missouri is a "likely destination" per their sources.

Woodfin was the Football Scoop strength coach of the year at UAB in 2014. He spent 2015-16 at Southern Miss before heading to Lawrence for the last two years.

We cannot confirm that information on our end at this point in time and do not know specifically what the job would be. But our guys at KU are tied in and have good sources and if they're hearing it I'm willing to bet the chances are good Eli Drinkwitz is targeting Woodfin for a role.

UPDATE: I've got a source I trust telling me Woodfin will be the strength and conditioning coach for Mizzou. Can't say it for absolute fact yet, but based on the previous report and the information I tracked down, I'm expecting he'll be the guy. Not sure when there would be an announcement.
