I get it, losing sucks. However, I think a lot of people forget that Drew is a true sophomore and that he still prone to making inexperienced mistakes. This is also the first year in a brand-new offense and there are obviously going to be some problems. Also, some of our best players offensively this year are freshman or first-year players. Generating chemistry out of thin air is tough.
I think one of the main issues though is a lot of people are judging Lock's performance this year based on the last two games. I get it, they were big games that if he played well in we have a chance of winning. However, we just played two of the best defenses in the country on their home turf. That's a tough feat for any quarterback that is young, in a new offense, and is going up against some of the best athletes in college football.
I'm not saying Locks horrid performance in the last 2 games is excusable but I think we should pump the brakes a little bit on judging him as a terrible quarterback.
The next four games are very winnable and I think you will see a better Drew Lock going forward. Also, I think our 2017 schedule has to be one of the easiest in the SEC so hopefully the future is bright
