We won, so no harm done, but there were seven official drops that could’ve proved very costly if the defense was playing like it was the first few games. I rewatched the game today and realized just how glaring Hall and a couple others’ drops were. Conservative stats w/o clear drops: 20/28 350-400 yards 6 TDs (settled for FGs) in just over 3 quarters. Lock obviously missed one TD throw as well, but it was really a solid performance in terms of execution. Fortunately, the OL was dominating and we could’ve run every time and been just fine. When the guys are catching the passes they should catch and our defense plays like it has recently, we can be competitive against almost anyone.
