Proud of our guys. They could have easily given up in the second half but didn’t. They were playing 6 on 11 and just ran out of gas. Wish we got another year of Kash. He is a special player. Just impossible to win when you get absolutely nothing from your two bigs and have short handed guard play. Especially sucks because only one other time all year did both Jontay and Tilmon suck it up in the same game. Geist isn’t the most talented guy but you have to respect the heart. Point guard playing with a sprained wrist. MPJ is only going half speed and still went for a double double. Yes it wasn’t super efficient and he had a couple horrible turnovers. He is probably gone but man just think what this team could be next year with him back healthy. If he was healthy his 16 points would probably have been 25 or so without him taking anymore shots. They could have easily quit when just about everything went wrong but still played hard the second half. This was a fun year and I am excited to have a real team again.
