Caught up with Davenport, who visited Missouri for a spring practice on March 15th and has official visit set with the Tigers for June 21st.
Here is what he had to say about his interest in Missouri:
"I’m really excited about the trajectory of the program and the opportunity to play in the SEC. Also after visiting for spring practice I was really impressed with how hard the OL room works."
Despite being ranked a 5.5, three-star, Davenport has a solid offer list that also includes Stanford, Michigan State, NC State, Indiana, Purdue, Duke, South Florida, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, West Virginia, and others.
He just completed his first year playing offensive tackle after playing tight end previously. Listed at 6-foot-6, 275-pounds, Davenport has the size and athleticism that Missouri offensive line coach Brandon Jones is looking for.
