I had the pleasure Friday night to hang out with Markus Golden. Markus was in the crowd at Oakville High School, where his brother Gerrelle and cousin Marcus are members of the Oakville varsity football team. What an engaging personality! With family all around him, he took some time during halftime to visit with my students and do an interview for a story that will air on our next school broadcast. We talked Mizzou for a while, and he says that his years in Columbia were the best of his life. His NFL schedule will not allow him to get to Columbia for any Tiger home games this year, but he wants everyone to know he will be rooting hard for the Tigers. After all, he said, "I'm Mizzou Made."
