One of the promising young coaches that has been mentioned on this board as a potential hc option for us is playing at Vanderbilt tonight on the SECN at 7:30.
McCall was an assistant for several years at Florida under Donovan. After the 2015 season when Donovan left for the NBA McCall took over the HC job at Chattanooga when Will Wade the previous hc there took the VCU job.
In his first year at Chattanooga he went 29-6 and so far this year is 8-2 with a win over Tennessee.
Just a heads up in case anyone is interested. Kenpom at the time I'm posting this has Chattanooga ranked 71 and Vandy ranked 77. His site currently predicts Vanderbilt to win by 3 so it might be a good game.
