Mizzou beat writer Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch was the guest speaker at the Tiger Club of Kansas City on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
Matter, a 2000 graduate of the MU School of Journalism, joined the Columbia Tribune shortly after graduation. He covered the Mizzou football beat for 13 years before taking on the same responsibilities at his hometown paper in 2013. He is the author of "100 Things Missouri Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die."
