Why McElwain May not be in a big hurry. I’m guessing his settlement with Florida paid 4.5 mil up front and then 1 mil a year for three years . It appears he took less than the buyout at the time and it does not offset from coaching income elsewhere. Eastern Michigan is paying him 750 and better so he may feel comfortable or obligated to stay there a while unless a fantastic opportunity comes along. Sooner or later he will take a big gig but there is no financial rush. Kinda wish there was . I could see him thriving at Mizzou.
