It’s Meltdown Time! Hawkeyes, Vols, ‘Horns and Gators...The latest edition of our shameless revelry in the misery of others.
"College football blessed us with several quality meltdowns this week. First up we have the Iowa Hawkeyes, who were ranked number 2 and had the fans feeling really good about themselves... until unranked Purdue came to town. Head coach Kirk Ferentz and his son, OC Brian, are drawing most of the ire along with QB Spencer Petras.Of course, we had to include Tennessee after that nutty game, complete with fans throwing things on the field. To be perfectly fair to the Vols, the vast majority of their online fans condemned that behavior. Still, they are spitting mad about losing the game in the fashion they did, and the Lane Kiffin factor only made it worse. Texas is included after losing to Oklahoma State, though they are getting to the point of numb at this point in the season, and we close with Florida fans who were big mad about losing to LSU.
As always, the language in this post is horrific. If you are easily offended, look away.
