After one of Missouri’s wins this season, he said he abides by 10 quarterback commandments and cited one in particular: the need to be a battlefield leader, not a celebrity quarterback. That was instilled in him during his years running the wishbone.
“For quarterbacks, it’s almost innate: They’re a little bit like prima donnas,” Domsitz said. “I can understand it. They’re gifted in many respects. But that doesn’t mean they’re perfect. You didn’t see that prima donna personality in Connor.”
