This was sent to site publishers from John Talman, head of Rivals.com, to pass along to you all:
To our valued subscribers,
Monday, Tuesday and for a 15 minute period on Wednesday we had periods of downtime on the site. I want to first and foremost say that this is no reflection on the work and efforts of our valued publishers and staff around the country that produce great content and manage the fantastic message board communities day in and day out. It is on our leadership team, starting with myself, to make sure that these issues are solved and site stability through the 2016 college football season and beyond is the absolute top priority. We have identified what caused the issue and we will continue to work around the clock optimizing and updating our system to prevent future downtime. Our hope is to keep your trust as a valued subscriber not with our words and promises, but with our actions and our work. We must be better and our aim is to provide the user experience that each of our customers deserve.
