With all the recent coaches firings, it got me to thinking how everyone is in a hurry. Players don't get time to develop in college. If you aren't contributing by your second year the coaches push you out the door. If you're a coach, the administration wants you to have 10 wins by year 2 or 3. Whatever happened to being patient? Changing players and coaches every few years doesn't allow for any continuity within programs.
