I was looking at the interview with Sheldon Richardson and he made a statement that was glossed over. Sonething to the effect that while at Mizzou he had to wait his turn even though he was outplayed people in front of him. He placed an emphasis on it. I know I for one have always been puzzled how certain players play when it seems obvious their backups...at least during the games are head and shoulders the better player. When myself and others would bring it up we would get shouted down about how we think we know more than the coaches...blah, blah, blah. Well Sheldon backed up my sentiment. In my opinion in big boy football the best player regardless of class should play. That might explain why our true freshmen rarely get significant playing time. And why certain players regardless of how they play continue to get playing time. I'm asking this...if that truly is the case is it a good or bad thing to you and what does it say about our coaches.
