The Center is the key for an offense to truly be successful. I have a lot of faith in Castillo and he looks the part. The one thing that I keep hearing is how we have 10 of 11 guys back on offense from last year and that's simply not true. Yes, Castillo and Simms over took jobs and the staff thinks they are better but are they? In Dubinski's two starts last year (against power 5 teams) the offense averaged 569 yards per game, 294 passing, 280 rushing and averaged 32.5 pts per game. In Castillo's first two power 5 starts the offense has averaged 313 yards per game, 189 passing, 124 rushing and averaged 8 pts per game. We heard over and over in camp about how smart Dubinski is and how prepared he is. A lot of calls and looks usually come from the center. Might be something to consider.
