Right now I equate Mizzou to South Carolina 2004. Both recently new to SEC and striving for national relevance and conference identity. South Carolina decided to go bold and hire Steve Spurrior. That brought them immediate cache, much higher national profile, and recruiting advantages. We all think Mizzou should be on that level. Mizzou is at that crossroads right now. Do they want to become relevant or are they comfortable being Kentucky and Vanderbilt? This off season will be very interesting and telling.
