-Gates was proud that the crowd stayed consistent this season despite the results. He said Auburn's a good team that can make it far in March. Said they came out flat in the second half and he takes full responsibility for it.

-Gates said they've missed 100 more games due to injury this year than they did last year. And a lot of them have been from key guys.

-Gates said he feels like his guys have accepted his challenge and have gotten to the free throw line more often.

-Sean East said the team got deflated when they gave up the 7-0 run to Auburn and just couldn't bounce back after that.

-Gates was asked what he takes away from a 27-point loss at this stage of the season. He said Auburn is who he thought they were.

-Gates said the next game isn't going to have any added weight for him. He said the expectation is still the same, they're still have to give their best effort.

-Sean East said he had mixed emotions coming off the floor. Said it's not over yet and there's still a lot they want to accomplish this year.

-Gates said if we were going to quote him on anything, to quote him on this: "I'm proud of our guys."
