With the regular season done and the SEC handing out their awards yesterday, I thought it was time to do the Mizzou version of all of these. I may have forgotten some but I tried to incorporate as many of these as possble to highlight the season. Here it goes...
MVP: Kassius Robertson
Most Improved: Jordan Barnett
Dunk of the year: Jeremiah Tilmon vs. kU in exhibition game (yes I'm still counting this)
Block of the year: Jordan Barnett vs Kentucky
Defensive player of the year: Jontay Porter (Because of his rebounding and blocks)
Freshman of the Year: Jontay Porter
Play of the Year: Puryear 3 to win it against Miss State

BAPOY (Back Alley Player of the year)- Jordan Geist
Opposing teams favorite player- Jordan Geist
Point guard of the year- Whats a PG? Do we have one of those?- give it to Kassius
Whipping Boy- Cullen Van Leer
IPOY (Instagram Player of the year)- Michael Porter Jr. (this one was easy)
Player who fouled me as I was typing this- Jeremiah Tilmon
Teammate of the year- Michael Porter Jr. (voted on by the members of PowerMizzou)
Player I forgot was on the team while looking to see if MPJ was on the bench- Ronnie Suggs
Quote of the Year: "He's day to day"--- Cuonzo Martin (November 13, 2017)
It was a great year and I really enjoyed watching this team. Hoping for a great SEC tournament showing and to make a run in the big dance.
