Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch was the guest speaker at the Tiger Club of KC today.
Matter is a 2000 graduate of the MU School of Journalism. He joined the Columbia Tribune full-time shortly after graduation and covered the Mizzou football beat for 13 years before taking on the same responsibilities at his hometown paper, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, in 2013. He is the author of “The 100-Yard Journey: A Life in Coaching and Battling for the Win” with former Mizzou football coach Gary Pinkel.
