Showed up for my Friday morning WOD - full Murphy today — and was sporting Mizzou gear. Multiple people commented about our poor performance and Drink’s comments.
One Utah fan said they deserved to be in the SEC after watching us and the gators last night.
I couldn’t say a word. I tried to argue it’s a legitimate QB competition, but a few of them started mimicking Drink’s postgame “28-7” comments.
After the workout, I didn’t have the heart to stick around and compare times, talk sports, and ask about vacation plans.
Overall, not the way I want to start my Labor Day weekend.
