In the light of talking about transfers and players and everything, I wanted to bring up how much Mizzou probably is missing the non-con schedule than people realize. I honestly forget if this was brought up a ton during the off-season but those 52-14 blowouts out west were valuable because it allowed the freshman to get some game action. This year, Mizzou can't really do that because all of the games are worth the starters staying in. You just can't throw freshman out there in a 20-10 game. I just noticed that a lot and wanted to share my thoughts. I hope guys like JJ Hester and Elijah Young and guys like that don't get discouraged early on because if this was a regular year they'd be playing some. That's why games like Mizzou-UT Martin matter.
