During his interview at the B&G game GP said, "I am a process guy". Clearly, they have learned to find guys they can build into "top" talent.
Year-by-year they do a better job and the team's performance shows it.
I cannot help but wonder if they are out there fighting for enough 5 star guys. They know they can make a 3-star play at a much higher level, but if they had more 4 and 5s couldn't they finally break through and be a NC?
I have no evidence and I am not really criticizing. Rather, I wonder if they are slightly blinded at being able to do so well with Mizzou Made, they miss a recruit or two each year. What do you think?
