The UCF win at Alabama certainly helped. This will inevitably come down some after playing Miami-Ohio, Green Bay, etc., but cool to look at for the time being:
I know the committee says every year that RPI isn't weighted too heavily, but the final brackets usually show otherwise. Even with the strength of the SEC and assuming a challenging league slate, it's very possible to make the NCAA field with only 18 or 19 wins if your RPI is disproportionately strong for your record -- which ours is tracking to be at the moment.
