New Offensive/Defensive coordinator that used to be a head coach...
It is like a broken record over the past 10 years or so. Now even though we are not 5-0 we are sill better than many of the SEC schools that have done just this over the past 5 years,
The SEC hired a ton of new coaches at or around the time Mizzou entered the SEC. Funny to see how those programs are going now:
Arky: Still waiting for Bielema to take them to the Rose Bowl
Tenn: Ace recruiter who is a terrible coach. Starting 0-2 in the SEC for the 8th year in a row.
USC: The Ole Ball coach is just the OLD Ball coach
Vandy: Never mind
Auburn: Gene Chizik 2.0?? Even has the "best DC in the country"
Miss St.: What happens when Dak leaves? Does Mullin because "ill" like Urban Meyer? ala Tim Tebow
Kentucky: They were 4-1 last year at this time
Florida: Muschamp won 11 games his first year, this one may be better but we need to wait and see
Ole Miss: Unless his current classes can stay on the field it will turn again. Least amount of depth on any team I have seen in the SEC not named Vandy. Most of their big names will leave after this year.
The fact of the matter is that Pinkel has found a way to keep winning when most have no clue. He has helped retire more coaches (in 2-3 conferences) than most any other coach. Why? Because they were supposed to beat us and never did.
Just keep winning.
