Chatted with Virginia offensive lineman RJ Proctor for a little bit last night. He just announced his intentions to transfer on January 3rd. Proctor told me that Missouri is one of the schools he's talking to right now. He seems interested in the program, but the conversations with the Tigers (and the other schools honestly) are in their infancy at the moment.
He told me that right now, he doesn't have any visits scheduled and plans to take his time on picking the right school to spend his final year of college eligibility at.
Not sure how this will play out with Mizzou, but other schools like his abilities as there have been almost 30 programs that have already reached out to him that includes teams like Florida, Oklahoma, Florida State, Texas, and others.
Proctor has been a solid player at Virginia. He appeared in 11 of 13 games this past season and had six starts at left guard. In 2017, he appeared in all 13 games for the Cavaliers that included five total starts - three at right guard, two at left guard. In 2016, he appeared in 12 games and made his first start in their season finale against Virginia Tech.
